South Park Rec Foundation

Purpose: I.R.S. Sec. 501(c)(3) organization responsible for fundraising for the rec center.

Vision: To improve the quality of life for the South Park community and its visitors through recreation.

Mission: The South Park Rec Foundation is the fundraising organization for the South Park Parks and Recreation District. We are committed to obtaining grants, raising funds, and sustaining the financial well-being of the District. Our fundraising efforts will support improvement of our current facility and programs, as well as promote its expansion. We pledge to provide healthy activities and a safe space for our local families, communities, and visitors.

Meetings: The South Park Rec Foundation Board of Directors will meet once per month (details to be announced soon). Please email carrie@southparkrec.org to find out location. All meetings are open to the public with the exception of properly called executive sessions

Compliance Officer

South Park Recreation Center has designated a compliance officer for website disability-related accommodations. The compliance officer has received training in website accessibility and updates the site in accordance with those best practices. Contact our accessibility officer to report an issue.

In addition to testing with users with a wide range of disabilities and coding our website to WCAG standards, South Park Recreation Center regularly scans its website to ensure ongoing compliance, and makes timely changes to any inaccessible changes, if any are found.
