The South Park Recreation Center is owned and operated by the South Park Parks and Recreation District (a Colorado Special District). It is staffed by full-time Executive Director, Programs Manager and Facilities Manager who oversee the daily operations of the district and/or manage the part-time staff: front desk lead, lifeguard lead, instructors, lifeguards and front desk staff. Our Board of Directors is responsible for setting policy for the overall operations of the rec center and oversee the operations of the district through the Executive Director. The South Park Rec Foundation, is an I.R.S. Sec. 501(c)(3) organization, who's mission is  to fundraise and grant write for the district.

Meetings

The South Park – Parks and Recreation District Board of Directors will normally meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month, at 6:00pm at the Rec Center (1190 Bullet Road, Fairplay). All meetings are open to the public with the exception of executive sessions during public meetings.
